1930 - 2012 Turriaco~ Italy We are sad to announce Dusatti passed away in March 2012. While Trieste was his artistic home, he lived most of his life near Gorizia. Dusatti became a member of the Trieste art-circle in his young years and finished his studies at The Academy of Fine Art in Venezia. Until 1980 he was a professor of painting and history of art, but later devoted himself exclusively to painting. Dusatti was a successful artist and modest man - he preferred an absolute order in his studio and loved a decorative ambience, which also comprised the objects of his still life paintings. He was also known for his love of landscapes, dominated by rain, snow, fog and isolated persons.
