Born in Teheran, Madjid belongs to the most famous artist family of the Rahnavardkar. Madjid began his painting career at the age of 16. In 1959 he was awarded with the Iran - French medal RASI for painting, one year later he was awarded with the first prize for painted art. Madjids personal expression through art is delivered in the manner of the impressionist, with the use of strong and vibrant colour, depiciting welcoming scenes with a feeling of warmth. Today Madjid is a well represented artist and after starting his first one man shows in 1966 has never looked back and has held a number of collective exhibitions. His ability and industriousness have made him a name on the international art scene.
