Born in 1943 in Budapest. Whilst studying at the Technical Universtiy of Budapest he started to develop his artistic talent, rather than becoming an Architect he became an artist. However, all through his still life compositions the precise drawing of his original background can be felt. Wanyi went to England for a lengthy stay and became popular on the London Gallery scene. His fine, hyper-realistic style has won him fame and wide acclaim. In the eighties, when his home country of Hungaria was free, he returned home to Budapest and established himself again as a successful artist whose work is now collected in many countries thoughout Europe.
