OWN ART

Arts Purchase Plan Text: ( see www.ownart.org.uk for more references)

*Tallantyre Gallery have endorsed and used the Own Art Purchase plan since it was first released by the Arts Council over 10 years ago. The scheme allows collectors to purchase contemporary original art work by spreading the cost over 10 months with an interest free loan.

The Own Art loans are a recognised scheme and used through a network of galleries and arts organisations across the United Kingdom to help support artists and the creative economy.

Tallantyre’s is one of the most recognised providers of this scheme in England and has seen its collectors benefit from being able to spread the cost and invest in original pieces for their home creating their own collections.

THE KEY FACTS:

  • It is only available for UK residents (over 18yrs old) to buy craft or original art work by living artists
  • It allows you to borrow as little as £100 or up to £2500
  • It allows you to pay back in 10 monthly interest free instalments
  • It can be used in part payment towards work costing more than £2500

*Unfortunately we are unable to sell work via our ecommerce website on the Own Art Scheme. However, The gallery team are always on hand if you would like further information and will guide you through the loan application process on the telephone or instore, which normally takes about 10 minutes. Once you've given all the information they need, you'll get an instant decision as to whether you will get approval for your loan.

Deposits are at the discretion of our gallery team at the time of consultation (We may ask you to provide one if you need to take the work away with you immediately).

Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They will send you a welcome letter and the 10 monthly payments will be collected by direct debit from your account starting a few weeks after you've made your purchase.
